The Division of Environmental Services is responsible for administering the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) for the City of Toledo.  The grant, funded by the Recovery Act, is intended to develop, promote, implement and manage energy efficiency and conservation projects.  The progran is designed to reduce fossil fuel emissions, reduce total energy use and improve energy efficiency in the transportation, building and other appropriate sectors while strengthening the economy and creating local jobs.  This grant helps the City of Toledo to meet the nation's long term clean energy and climate goals.
