Stormwater Engineering

Utilizing funds from the Stormwater Utility fees paid on residents' monthly water bills, the City of Toledo has been actively implementing a storm water capacity improvement program to lessen flood damage, with the initial emphasis on the open ditch and creek collection system. Major improvements have been completed, with much more to be done.
