ROAD CLOSURES & ALERTS
UPTON AVENUE - SYLVANIA AVENUE TO TREMAINSVILLE ROAD
To allow the Division of Sewer & Drainage Services to make a sewer repair on Upton Avenue, it will become necessary to close Upton Ave. between Sylvania Ave. and Tremainsville Rd. starting at 9:00 am on Wednesday, November 2, 2011.
No detour will be established for this closure.
It is expected that Upton Ave. will be reopened to traffic on or about Friday, November 4, 2011.
LASKEY ROAD - LEWIS AVENUE TO JACKMAN ROAD
To allow the Ann Arbor Railroad Corporation to repair their crossing on Laskey Road, it will become necessary to close Laskey Road between Lewis Avenue and Jackman Road from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
A detour will be established for this closure via Lewis Ave. to Alexis Rd. to Jackman Rd. to Laskey Rd. in both directions.
STICKNEY AVENUE - MATZINGER ROAD TO BENORE ROAD
To allow the contractor to repair an existing pipeline under Stickney Avenue, it will become necessary to close Stickney Avenue between Matzinger Road and Benore Road starting at 9:00 am on Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
A detour will be established for this closure via Matzinger Rd. to Enterprise Blvd. to Benore Road in both directions.
It is expected that Stickney Avenue will be repoened to traffic on or about Tuesday, November 22, 2011.
HURON STREET - ADAMS STREET TO MADISON AVENUE
To allow the conversion of Huron Street to two-way traffic between Adams Street and Madison Avenue, it will become necessary to close Huron Street between Adams Street and Madison Avenue between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. To help facility this conversion, parking will be restricted on the East side of Huron during these hours.
A detour will not be established for this closure.
Rain date will be next available work day.
DETROIT AVENUE - DURFEE DRIVE TO STATE LINE ROAD
To allow the Ann Arbor Railroad to repair their crossing on Detroit Avenue, it will become necessary to close Detroit, between Durfee and State Line, starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2011.
A detour will be established for this closure via Alexis to Benore, in both directions.
It is expected that Detroit Ave. will be reopened to traffic on or about Friday, October 28, 2011.
WHITEFORD-CENTER ROAD / SECOR ROAD TO THELMA DRIVE
In conjunction with the Secor and Whiteford-Center Roadway Project, and to allow the contractor to perform construction work on Whiteford-Center Road, it will become necessary to close Whiteford-Center Road, between Secor and Thelma, starting at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011.
No detour will be established for this closure.
It is expected that Whiteford-Center Road will be reopened to traffic on or about Friday, October 28, 2011.
SYLVANIA AVENUE - LEWIS AVENUE TO OVERLAND PARKWAY
In conjunction with the Sylvania Avenue Reconstruction Project, and to allow the contractor to perform construction work on the north side of Sylvania Avenue, between Lewis and Overland, it will become necessary to shift two-way to the south side of Sylvania, from Lewis to Overland, starting Tuesday afternoon, October 4, 2011.
This phase of construction is expected to be completed in early November 2011 and after that additional information concerning the next construction phase will be announced.
SHERBROOKE ROAD - GROVELAND ROAD TO MARLOW ROAD (OVER I-475)
In conjunction with The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) I-475 Project, it has become necessary to close Sherbrooke Road, between Groveland and Marlow (over I-475), starting Tuesday, October 26, 2010.
No detour will be established for this closure.
This closure will last nearly the duration of the I-475 Project work that is to be completed on or about November 2012.
