The City of Toledo Division of Solid Waste provides refuse collection on a regular weekly basis and recycling on a bi-weekly basis in an effort to make refuse and recycling disposal easier for residents, and to make Toledo a cleaner and more attractive city.
BULK / OVERFLOW PICK-UP
Effective Monday, February 8, 2010, the City of Toledo will ask residents needing bulk or overflow pick-up to call 48 business hours in advance to ensure collection. Residents may continue to request bulk pick-up by calling (419) 936-2511. Calls must be received by 4:00 p.m. to ensure that homes are placed on the appropriate pick-up route. Homes needing Monday collection of bulk or overflow items should call by 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday before service is needed. The changes are being made to ensure that residents can continue to rely on dependable pick-up service.
