Smoke Detector Trust Fund

The Toledo Fire and Rescue Department administers the Smoke Detector Trust Fund. This fund is
designed to pay for smoke detectors for those who either cannot afford them or cannot obtain them
easily. It also is utilized to pay for the school smoke detector giveaway program. It is the stated intent
of the program that "No one should die or become injured in a fire because they could not obtain a
smoke detector." If you would care to give a donation to the Smoke Detector Trust Fund please send a
